Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore seeks a Patient Service Associate in Diagnostic Radiology to support patients throughout their care journey. Qualifications

• Prior frontline, customer service or service-related roles would be advantageous; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional and empathetic frontline service to patients and their families.
• Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling and other related administrative matters.
• Handle payment collection and financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update patient information and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide financial counselling and explain relevant payment and financing options to patients, where required.
• Respond to patient enquiries and provide appropriate information or assistance.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as required to support the department.

Overview

As a Patient Service Associate in Diagnostic Radiology, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their care journey. As one of the key points of contact for patients and their families, you will provide efficient and courteous service while supporting the smooth delivery of patient care and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional and empathetic frontline service to patients and their families.
• Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling and other related administrative matters.
• Handle payment collection and financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update patient information and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide financial counselling and explain relevant payment and financing options to patients, where required.
• Respond to patient enquiries and provide appropriate information or assistance.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as required to support the department.

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline, GCE ‘A’ / ‘O’ Levels, Higher NITEC in Business Studies, or NITEC in Service Skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced, people-centred environment.
• Friendly, adaptable and a good team player.
• Prior experience in frontline, customer service or service-related roles would be advantageous. Training will be provided.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications.
• Able to work Mondays to Fridays, alternate Saturdays (half-day), and rostered Sundays approximately once every six weeks.
• Able to work staggered office hours based on operational requirements.
