Job summary

International Medical Clinic (IMC) is seeking a Patient Service Officer to be the first point of contact for patients, handling reception, calls, and emails while supporting family, pediatric, and travel medicine services.

You will work with the Patient Service Supervisor and Clinic Managers to ensure smooth front-desk operations, accurate records, and high-quality customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC or diploma in a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare, clinic, or patient service.
• Experience with front-desk, call centre, or patient services is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic management systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows is desirable.
• Strong multitasking and time-management in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: manage a clean, welcoming service desk and waiting area.
• Patient Interaction: greet, assist, and manage check-ins and bookings.
• Appointment Management: schedule, reschedule, coordinate in-clinic and remote.
• Call Centre Duties: handle high volumes of inbound/outbound calls and triage queries.
• Email & Communication Management: respond to emails and confirm online bookings.
• Insurance & Billing Support: assist with IDB tasks and payments.
• Clinical Coordination: support referrals, lab handovers, and follow-ups.
• Telehealth & Documentation: perform basic tele-triage and maintain records.
• End-of-Day Procedures: close clinic, balance transactions, and secure systems.
