Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or commercial cake studio.
• Open-mindedness and flexibility to learn new techniques and adapt to kitchen workflows.
• Strong foundation in basic baking, pipe work, frosting preparation, and dessert assembly.

Responsibilities

• Bake cakes, cupcakes, and sponge layers daily to meet quality standards
• Prepare mousse cakes and specialty dessert bases with precision
• Handcraft small desserts such as macarons, tarts, cookies, and individual pastries
• Prepare glazes, frostings, and fillings, and assist in assembling and finishing cakes
• Contribute ideas and test new recipes to develop seasonal menu items (R&D)
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of kitchen stations consistently
