Cakeinspiration LLP in Singapore is seeking a Pastry Chef / Baker to bake and decorate high-quality cakes and desserts while maintaining strict kitchen hygiene. You will contribute creatively to recipe development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on bakery or pastry kitchen experience.
• Eligible to work in Singapore (Singaporean, PR, or valid work pass).

Responsabilités

• Bake cakes, cupcakes, and sponge layers daily to meet quality standards.
• Prepare mousse cakes and specialty dessert bases with precision.
• Handcraft small desserts such as macarons, tarts, cookies, and individual pastries.
• Prepare glazes, frostings, and fillings, and assist in assembling and finishing cakes.
• Contribute ideas and test new recipes to develop seasonal menu items (R&D).
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of kitchen stations consistently.

Job Summary

Join Cakeinspiration as a Pastry Chef / Baker to bake and decorate high-quality cakes and desserts, maintain kitchen hygiene, and contribute creatively to recipe development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Bake cakes, cupcakes, and sponge layers daily to meet quality standards
• Prepare mousse cakes and specialty dessert bases with precision
• Handcraft small desserts such as macarons, tarts, cookies, and individual pastries
• Prepare glazes, frostings, and fillings, and assist in assembling and finishing cakes
• Contribute ideas and test new recipes to develop seasonal menu items (R&D)
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of kitchen stations consistently

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or commercial cake studio
• Eligibility to work in Singapore as a Singaporean, Singapore PR, or Malaysian with valid work pass

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Open-mindedness and flexibility to learn new techniques and adapt to kitchen workflows
• Strong foundation in basic baking, pipe work, frosting preparation, and dessert assembly

• Salary: $1,800 - $2,800 per month, commensurate with skill and experience
