Job summary

BAKER & COOK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking pastry-focused staff to join our artisan bakery and foodstore. Daily production of pastries will follow our recipes, with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency.

You will ensure safe operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness at your workstation, and comply with health and sanitation regulations. Training is provided for candidates with passion for pastry even if experience is limited. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Pastry Skills or its equivalent.
• 1 year pastry experience preferred.
• Training provided for those with passion for pastry.

Responsibilities

• Daily production of pastry products in accordance with recipes.
• Maintain highest quality and consistent products standards.
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around workstation and strictly abide with health/sanitation regulations.

Job Description

• Daily production of pastry products in accordance with specifications from recipes
• Maintain highest quality and consistent products standards
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around workstation and strictly abide with health/sanitation regulations
• Any other ad-hoc duties base on operational needs

Requirements

• Certificate in Pastry Skills or its equivalent
• Preferably 1 year of pastry experience
• Training will be provided for those who have got no experience but have passion for everything Pastry
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays
