Job summary

Baker & Cook Singapore is seeking a hands-on baker to join our artisan bakery and foodstore team. You will be responsible for daily production of bread and pastries, ensuring top quality, and maintaining sanitation and safety in all work areas.

You will support the Production Manager and chefs, participate in maintaining recipe integrity, and may work weekends and holidays as required. Join us to contribute to Singapore’s only true artisan bakery and foodstore.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Baking/Pastry Skills or its equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year supervisory experience in Bakery/Pastry Kitchen.
• Good team player and self-motivated.
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily production of bread and pastry products per recipes.
• Maintain high quality and consistent product standards.
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness around workstation and follow sanitation regulations.
• Assist Production Manager, Pastry Chef/Head Baker and Assistant Pastry Chef in completing tasks on time.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as needed by operations.

Job Description

• Daily production of bread/pastry products in accordance with specifications from recipes
• Maintain highest quality and consistent products standards
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around workstation and strictly abide with health/sanitation regulations
• Assist Production Manager, Pastry Chef/Head Baker and Assistant Pastry Chef/Head Baker in ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner, and adhering to production workflow
• Any other ad-hoc duties base on operational needs

• Certificate in Baking/Pastry Skills or its equivalent
