Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Personnel to support the school’s Student Development Team in student engagement, pastoral care and intervention work for primary school students in Yishun, Singapore.

The role requires collaboration with teachers and school leaders, with duties including pastoral care, documentation, reporting and supporting disciplinary-related activities during term time.

Qualifications

• Preferably possess relevant qualifications, training and/or certifications in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Child Development, Youth Work or related fields.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with primary school students from diverse backgrounds.
• At least one year of relevant experience in the education and/or social service sector involving work with children and/or youths.

Responsibilities

• Support and work with the school’s Student Development Team in matters relating to student engagement, pastoral care, and intervention work for primary school students.
• Observe, document and report on students' needs and concerns with weekly updates.
• Provide weekly feedback to the Student Development Team on students’ needs and recommended follow-up actions.
