Job summary

Dadaca is seeking a 3 months temporary Pastry Assistant to join its kitchen team in Singapore. You will support pastry chefs with prep, decorating, packaging, and general duties in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Shifts are 6-8 hours, 4 days per week, with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pastries and decorating techniques. This temporary role is ideal for someone passionate about baking and eager to contribute to a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Assist in decorating baked goods with frosting, icing and decorations.
• Support pastry chefs and bakers with mixing and baking tasks.
• Package and label baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace, tools and equipment.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as needed, such as washing dishes and waste disposal.

3 Months Temporary Pastry Assistant

Job Description:

• Preparation of ingredients according to recipes.
• Assist in the decoration of baked goods which includes frosting, icing and adding of other decorative elements.
• Support the full-time pastry chefs and bakers in the various tasks such as mixing and baking.
• Packaging and labelling of baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workplace area, tools and equipments.
• Assist in other general kitchen duties and tasks as and when needed such as washing dishes, taking out the trash and organisation.

Skills and Qualities Required:

• * Teamwork and Communication - Able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
• * Attention to Detail - Accuracy in following recipes and instructions.
• * Time Management - Able to work efficiently both within a team and individually.
• * Passion for Baking - A genuine interest in baking and pastry arts is a plus.

Able to work 4 days a week and 6-8 hrs a day.

Able to start work on last week of April.
