Job summary

MD Family Clinic is seeking a part-time Clinic Assistant to support daily patient flow across multiple locations. You will register patients, manage appointments, and greet visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Additional duties include answering calls, assisting doctors during consultations, basic clinical tasks, and handling billing where applicable. Training is provided for those new to healthcare.

Qualifications

• Prior GP clinic or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates with no experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient, and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and manage appointments.
• Welcome and assist patients with a professional and caring attitude.
• Answer calls and respond to patient enquiries.
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
• Dispense medications according to the doctor's instructions.
• Perform basic clinical duties such as measuring vital signs and preparing consultation rooms.
• Handle billing, payments, and insurance submissions where applicable.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Keep the clinic clean, organized, and well-stocked with medical supplies.
• Carry out other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
