Job summary

Panwood Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a vessel operations assistant to support boarding of provisions and accompany on-board boarding when required. You will liaise with ship masters and charterers to ensure smooth operations and handle order/delivery communications.

Job Description

(1) Vessel Boarding Duties

• Assisting with the loading of provisions and supplies from small boats to client vessels.
• Accompany the boarding process to large ships when needed (on-water vessel boarding is required).

(2) Communication and Coordination

• Liaise with ship masters, vessel principals, and charterers to fulfill operational requirements.
• Handle communications that arise during order and delivery processes.

(3) Administrative and Vessel Operations Support

• Assist with general administrative duties.
• Coordinate and support various vessel-related operations and activities.

Qualifications

Other Information

Working Hours & Compensation

• Working hours: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM (Mon-Fri) + Half-day duty on alternating weekends
• Probation Salary: SGD $3,000 (2 Months)
• Confirmed Salary: SGD $3,600

Boarding Allowance

• : SGD $30 per vessel
• : Additional SGD $13/hour (up to 3 hours) for non-office hour boarding
• : Average 10-15 vessels per month
