Job summary

SLEIPNER SHIPPING PTE LTD is seeking a Shipping Operations Coordinator to manage port and immigration formalities and vessel-related documentation in Singapore. You will coordinate bunkering, crew changes, surveys, and supplier arrangements while maintaining strong relationships with customers and shipowners.

Responsibilities include updating vessel schedules, ensuring timely communications, and attending vessels at Singapore ports as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping agency or vessel operations.
• Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations and tariffs.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Arrange transportation for crew members between vessels, airports and other locations.
• Provide timely updates on vessel schedules, prospects and work progress to all relevant parties.
• Maintain good relationships with customers, shipowners, operators and service providers.
• Attend vessels physically at Singapore ports and anchorages when required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in shipping agency or vessel operations.
• Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations, procedures and tariffs.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to vessel arrival and departure schedules.
• Able to work under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Candidates who can commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
