Job summary

National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking a capable leader to oversee the outpatient admitting services under the Head of Cardiac Clinics. You will develop workplans, monitor performance, and drive improvement initiatives to ensure smooth patient admissions.

Responsibilities include budgeting, resource planning, cross-functional coordination for system enhancements, and representing the department at cluster meetings to align with strategic priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 3 years’ experience in managing admitting services.
• Healthcare and staff management experience preferred.
• Experience with design thinking, change management, project management, or process methodologies preferred.
• Results-oriented self-starter with strong analytical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Cardiac Clinics in managing outpatient admitting services.
• Develop workplans and processes for admission and financial counselling using innovative technologies.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets.
• Manage manpower resources and service recovery; oversee improvement projects.
• Represent the department at cluster meetings and coordinate cross-functional activities for system enhancements.
