Job summary

National Heart Centre Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and supervise the outpatient admitting services. You will drive the efficient operation of admissions and financial counselling, shaping processes through innovative technology and strategic planning.

You will also manage budgets, resources, and manpower, while leading cross-functional projects and representing the department in cluster meetings to enhance workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 3 years' working experience in admitting services, preferably in healthcare.
• Healthcare and staff management experience will be advantageous.
• Experience in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption or process methodologies preferred.
• Results-oriented self-starter with strong analytical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to exercise initiative, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

You will assist the Head of Cardiac Clinics in managing and supervising the operational and day-to-day activities of the outpatient admitting services. You will be involved in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of the admission and financial counselling processes to ensure efficient and smooth patient admissions.

You will develop workplans and processes for various categories of the admission and financial counselling process by harnessing innovative technologies in patient care. You will prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets and ensure efficient and effective resource allocation and utilisation. You will manage manpower resources for new and existing services in the outpatient settings, provide prompt service recovery, and oversee improvement projects to enhance this area.

You will also represent the department at cluster meetings, contribute meaningfully to discussions and coordinate cross-functional activities related to system enhancements and workflows.

Job Requirements:

• Degree with at least3 years' working experience, preferably in managing admitting services in the healthcare industry
• Healthcare and staff management experience will be an advantage
