Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Supervisor at Conrad Hotels and Resorts will actively guide the outlet team by providing assistance and supervision to the Outlet Manager to ensure efficient, organized, and smooth floor operations, delivering an excellent Guest and Member experience.

What will I be doing?

As an Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Supervisor, you will direct and coordinate floor operations, assist the team, and ensure hotel service standards are met and maintained. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of Team Members, Junior Captains, Captains, and Casual workers to deliver consistent, high-quality service
  • Maintaining a high guest service focus by proactively addressing guest needs and requests
  • Resolving issues promptly, communicating clearly with guests and team members
  • Working across all areas of the outlet/restaurant
  • Ensuring proper cashiering procedures are followed
  • Recommending menu items and promoting upselling based on departmental incentives
  • Scheduling staff rosters
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas
  • Adhering to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
  • Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good interdepartmental relationships
  • Being mobile within other Food & Beverage departments as required
