Qualifications

• Degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related role, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Capable of managing multiple accounts and handling escalated cases simultaneously.
• Occasional overtime and short period business travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Key Account Managers in maintaining strong customer relationships and enhancing business engagement and performance.
• Provide internal sales support to capture ad hoc business opportunities through existing sales channels.
• Manage daily order processing activities, including order receipt, sales order maintenance, and preparation of basic RFQs, consulting Account Managers when required.
• Utilize ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, or Oracle for order management and customer support functions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and invoicing matters.
• Ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of customer, product, batch number, and specification information.
• Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain proactive communication with both customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
• Coordinate and follow up on customer complaints, working with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while supporting business objectives and management initiatives.
• Develop a solid understanding of the company's products and services to address customer enquiries efficiently.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Sales team regarding customer requirements, order status, and market insights.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and safe office environment in line with company housekeeping standards.
