Job summary

Lumilens Inc. in Singapore seeks an experienced Optical Transceiver Product Engineer to drive development-to-manufacturing transitions, including NPI and transfers to CM sites. You will own manufacturing readiness, BOM accuracy, and yield performance while collaborating with design, quality, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes cost efficiency, process improvements, and scale-up of 800G and 1.6T platforms in a fast-paced environment. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in high-volume optical transceiver manufacturing.
• Proven experience with NPI and product/manufacturing transfers at contract manufacturing sites.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Own NPI and product transfer qualification at CM sites, ensuring processes and yields are validated before mass production release.
• End-to-end manufacturing ownership with strict change control and QMS compliance.
• Lead product yield, quality, and reliability delivery to customers.
• Maintain accuracy of the manufacturing BOM and drive cost and productivity improvements.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans to improve yield, cycle time, throughput, and scrap reduction.
• Track test results and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead root-cause analysis for yield excursions, test failures, and field returns; implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure up-to-date product documentation and specifications.
• Collaborate with QA for qualification testing and with design/process engineering for DFM alignment.
• Prepare product/process reports summarizing trends and insights.
