Job summary

Lumilens in Singapore is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead end-to-end operational execution as the company scales its next-generation optical transceivers from NPI into high-volume global manufacturing.

You will own delivery, cost, quality, and capacity across Lumilens’ manufacturing ecosystem, partnering with OEMs, component suppliers, and internal planning teams. The role requires deep optics or electronics knowledge and a proven ability to drive DFM/DFX and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in ops, manufacturing or supply chain within hardware/advanced electronics.
• Proven track record scaling products from NPI through high-volume manufacturing with cost and delivery ownership.
• Deep hands-on expertise in manufacturing process development, yield analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating pricing and long-term supply agreements.
• Experience with QMS, reliability testing and quality standards for high-volume electronics/optics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operations for Lumilens’ product portfolio (800G/1.6T optical modules).
• Serve as escalation authority for production, yield, capacity, quality and supplier issues.
• Translate demand into executable build plans and supply strategies.
• Lead global manufacturing ecosystem, including EMS/ODM partners and fabs.
• Drive capacity planning, ramp readiness and risk mitigation across sites.
• Negotiate and manage pricing, capacity reservations, and long-term supply agreements.
• Establish dual-sourcing and supplier contingency plans for supply continuity.
• Own COGS performance and long-term cost-down roadmaps.
• Partner with Product/Hardware Engineering to align design and manufacturing.
• Embed DFM/DFX principles early in the NPI lifecycle for scalable production.
• Build scalable operating cadence with weekly build reviews and supplier dashboards.
• Implement demand planning, S&OP, supplier scorecards and quality management.
• Build and mentor a high-performing operations team.
