Job summary

Family Life Group (FLG) is seeking an Ops-Policy officer in the Masterplanning Team to drive the end-to-end design and implementation of Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS). You will operate at the intersection of policy, legislation, operations, and system design to translate policy intent into workable, system-ready solutions and to shape how national policies are operationalised.

A background in ops-policy and service delivery, with strong analytical and communication skills, is preferred to

Qualifications

• Policy analysis skills, with the ability to translate legislation into operational frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management across policy, legal and operational domains.
• Experience in process design and service improvement is advantageous.
• Data analysis capabilities to assess implementation effectiveness and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead ops-policy reviews on complex workstreams, including GPLS design and refinement.
• Collaborate with policy and legislative stakeholders (e.g. AGC) for amendments.
• Balance policy objectives with operational realities and priorities.
• Engage MOM, Tripartite Partners and Companies to ensure effective implementation.
• Develop clear policy positions and actionable recommendations.
