Job summary

Ministry of Home Affairs in Singapore seeks a policy and project management professional to support Ops Tech Track and transport policy development. The role involves cross-HTD project leadership, tender preparation, and management reporting.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Home Team Departments, drive efficiency initiatives, and serve as Secretariat for the PLCC, supporting procurement and logistics initiatives across the ministry.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transport, procurement, policy or project management.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work with diverse groups of officers from different organisations and reach common consensus.
• Project management skills will be considered favourably.
• Familiarity with Government logistics, procurement and finance processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Policy and Advisory: Support development and implementation of Ops Tech Track and transport policy review.
• Process Improvement: Identify cross-HTD initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Project Management: Lead cross-HTD projects for ops tech and transport-related initiatives; prepare tender documents and progress updates.
• Others: Act as Secretariat for PLCC and organise department activities.
