Job summary

A medical institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a role that involves assisting with technical ophthalmic and imaging scans. Job description

Assist to provide technical ophthalmic and imaging scans assistance to patients. You will be required to perform various eye tests, imaging scans and update database records of procedures performed for both Ophthalmic Investigation Services and Ocular Imaging Services in both Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) and Main Centre in Outram Park sites.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions
  • Liaise with patients and inform them of their waiting time
  • Perform basic ophthalmic eye investigation tests for different subspecialty group e.g. glaucoma screening
  • Perform Digital Clinical, General Imaging and Optical Coherent Tomography Scans
  • Perform administrative functions and update patient's database records.
  • Able to achieve competency in a fast-paced environment
  • Any other duties as assigned

Note: Basic knowledge and anatomy of the eye will be advantageous but not essential as on job training will be provided.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent, entry Diploma level are welcome
  • IT Savvy with a willingness to learn

  • 1 year working experience in Admin or related field is advantageous
