Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily hotel functions with a focus on sustainability and regulatory compliance. You will oversee rooms, F&B, housekeeping, engineering, and security while driving ESG initiatives across departments.

In this role, you will collaborate with outsourced partners, manage vendor relations, and deliver training on sustainability practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an operations management role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations including housekeeping, engineering, security, and guest services.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers and contractor relationships.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, ESG practices will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including rooms, F&B, housekeeping, engineering, and security.
• Monitor outsourced services, contracts, and billing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and sustainability requirements.
• Serve as Sustainability Champion and lead sustainability initiatives.
• Create and execute sustainability strategies and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and deliver training on sustainability practices and procedures.
• Oversee sustainability projects like waste reduction and energy efficiency.
• Prepare monthly sustainability reports and reviews with Department Leaders.
• Take ownership of daily operations and maximise productivity.
• Support the General Manager in implementing operational initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost management and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and monthly reporting.
