Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee rooms, F&B, housekeeping, engineering, and outsourced services, with a strong focus on sustainability. You will lead training, monitor vendors, ensure brand standards, and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires collaboration across departments, management of regulatory compliance, and ongoing sustainability initiatives to align with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an operations management role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations including housekeeping, engineering, security, and guest services.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers and contractor relationships.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, environmental compliance, and ESG practices will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and operational controls.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations: rooms, F&B, housekeeping, engineering, outsourced services, and security.
• Monitor vendor performance, service standards, billing accuracy, contract compliance, and quality of outsourced functions.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, sustainability requirements, and procedures.
• Serve as Sustainability Champion and lead sustainability initiatives.
• Create and execute sustainability strategies aligned with goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop training programs on sustainability, compliance, and procedures.
• Oversee sustainability projects including waste reduction and energy efficiency.
• Conduct monthly sustainability meetings with Department Leaders.
• Monitor sustainability metrics and prepare reports for Management.
• Ensure risk management and sustainability programs comply with regulations.
• Maintain sustainability policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain hotel licences and regulatory approvals.
• Collaborate with departments, outsourced providers, authorities, and partners.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and inspections for quality and standards.
• Support the General Manager in initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, cost, sustainability, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate operational records and monthly reporting.
