Job summary

capital human resource management pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a logistics client in East Singapore. You will oversee daily inbound, outbound, and inventory control, plan warehouse layouts, and ensure timely order fulfilment against SLAs.

Lead a warehouse team, implement SOPs, manage WMS and SAP, drive Kaizen initiatives, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain safety, compliance, and productive operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, inventory practices, and warehouse safety regulations.

Our Client, in the Logistics Industry located in East has opening for Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes.
• Plan and execute warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery according to SLAs/KPIs.
• Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs.
• Lead and supervise warehouse team leaders, supervisors, and ground staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
• Allocate manpower based on volume forecasts and workload.
• Ensure accurate stock records and regular cycle counts.
• Manage WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other logistics systems (i.e. SAP)
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g., WSH Act, SCDF regulations).
• Conduct regular safety drills, risk assessments, and audits.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Drive Kaizen/Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Analyze KPIs and operational data to propose process improvements.
• Lead or participate in automation and digital transformation projects.
• Serve as the key contact for customers.
• Handle client escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders for smooth operations.
