Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership across logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service to optimize flow.

• Identify localized cost-saving opportunities and support daily cost controls.
• Lead continuous improvement, waste reduction, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure SLA compliance.
• Oversee stock takes, disposal approvals, and inventory accuracy.
• Investigate cargo damage claims and major inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct root cause analyses for service failures and operational issues.
• Support recruitment, selection, and performance management of supervisors and executives.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Operation Manager to provide tactical site and shift leadership across logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tactical leadership across logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations to optimize process flow and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline inbound and outbound logistics processes.
• Identify localized cost-saving opportunities and support daily operating cost controls.
• Lead continuous improvement, waste reduction, and workplace safety enhancement initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party vendors, including transport providers and manpower agencies, to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Manage manpower requisitions, overtime approvals, and ad-hoc operational expenditures.
• Support the recruitment, selection, and performance management of supervisory and executive-level employees.
• Oversee annual stock takes and disposal approvals.
• Investigate cargo damage claims and major inventory discrepancies and support appropriate resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for service failures and operational issues.
• Manage operational challenges, tight delivery deadlines, and periods of high volume effectively.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Proven analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage tight operational deadlines.
• Forklift or VNA license and WSH certification license will be an advantage.
