Job summary

SINODA SHIPPING AGENCY PTE LTD is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage port calls, berthing, bunkering, and cargo handling. You will liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and terminal operators to ensure smooth vessel turnarounds.

You will support marine crew with documentation, maintain records, and ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS and environmental standards while coordinating with shippers and logistics providers. Immediate start preferred and driving licence bonus is noted.

Qualifications

• Must have GCE O Levels or equivalent.
• Ability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate port calls, vessel berthing, bunkering, cargo loading/unloading.
• Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and terminal operators.
• Monitor vessel schedules and ensure timely turnaround.
• Support marine crew with documentation and shore requirements.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents including B/L, manifest, port clearance, etc.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime laws, safety regulations (ISM/ISPS), and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records and filing of operational documents.
• Track cargo movement and ensure proper handling, storage, and delivery.
• Liaise with shippers, consignees, and logistics providers.
• Act as point of contact between vessel, office, and external stakeholders.
• Provide updates to clients and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Assist in audits and inspections from clients or authorities.
