Job summary

Motorway Car Rentals Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Assistant to manage vehicle readiness, ensure availability, and support customer service across branches. You will assist with fleet maintenance coordination and frontline inquiries to ensure smooth vehicle deployment.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, updating status in the system, and coordinating deliveries, swaps, and handovers to minimize downtime and maintain fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N/O Level Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Effective communication skills for professional customer interaction.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications to manage records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor vehicles parked within company premises and nearby areas to ensure proper organization and security.
• Prepare vehicles by cleaning and inspecting them before collection, deployment, replacement, or customer handover to ensure readiness.
• Report vehicle issues, damages, or defects promptly to the Maintenance Officer to maintain fleet safety and reliability.
• Update the system daily with accurate vehicle availability and status to support operational planning.
• Respond professionally to phone enquiries from salespersons and customers to provide timely and courteous assistance.
• Attend to walk-in customers regarding maintenance concerns and coordinate replacement vehicles when needed to minimize downtime.
• Assist the Operations team with vehicle deliveries, collections, and swaps for repair or servicing to support efficient fleet management.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support team needs.
