Job summary

KIMS ASSOCIATES PTE LTD is seeking a logistics coordinator to support daily inbound/outbound operations, coordinate deliveries, and dispatch sales orders in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will report to the Operations Manager, work Monday to Saturday with early hours, and may be required to work after hours or on Saturdays as duties evolve. SAP and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Immediate start preferred with 2–3 years of logistics experience in manufacturing or transport.

Qualifications

• Proven 2–3 years in logistics coordination.
• Education: GCE O Levels or Higher/NITEC or Diploma in Logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders on a daily basis.
• Plan and monitor daily delivery schedules by liaising with clients / suppliers / agents for timely inbound stock and outbound deliveries & vessel loading / supply schedule.
• Monitor and track inventory levels, shipments and deliveries in real-time using logistics management systems.
• Attend to customers’ queries on outstanding delivery issues.
• Support warehouse and inventory management activities.
• Perform other related duties as required by the operations and warehouse departments.

About the role

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain activities. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for supporting the daily coordination of inbound / outbound activities, scheduling of deliveries, and dispatching of sales orders in the most cost-effective and efficient manner while ensuring customer service objectives are met.

Working Hours: Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 0730 – 1630hrs, Sat: 0730 – 1130hrs

Scheduled working hours subject to changes based on the continuous development of the department duties.

Compensation: Basic Pay (S$3.4K – S$3.8K)

Upon confirmation, work alt Sat from 4th month with transport allowance of $50 to $100

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Education: Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels. Preferably Higher NITEC or Diploma in Logistics Management.

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a logistics coordination or similar role within the manufacturing or transport sector.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & SAP.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Dynamic, proactive, takes initiative and able to work independently as well as a team-player.
• Good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• Be willing to work outside of work hours if required.
• A valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s Geographic locations will be an advantage.
