Job summary

JTB PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Assistant to support the sales team with travel arrangements, bookings, and admin tasks.

The role requires a Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality, 2+ years in the industry, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong interpersonal skills; experience with group bookings and GDS (Sabre/Amadeus) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in Tourism or Hospitality industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work under tight schedules with a positive attitude.
• Independent, meticulous, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in group bookings.
• Experience in using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to sales, including reservations, vendor coordination, itineraries, transfers, and pre-departure materials.
• Handle visa enquiries and insurance purchases for corporate clients via email and phone.
• Manage disputes and complaints internally and externally.
• Assist with proposal preparation when required.
• Support the business travel team in daily operations.
• Issue EO and invoices for all operational tasks assigned by the manager.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support towards sales team, including, but not limited to, ticket reservations, vendor coordination, itinerary and transfer arrangements, coach and luggage tag preparation, and pre-departure materials.
• Handle visa enquiry and insurance purchase through email and phone communication for corporate clients.
• Handling dispute and complaints internally & externally.
• Provide sales support and assist with proposal preparation when required.
• Support business travel team for its operation and other team.
• Issue EO and invoices for all operational support rendered, including tasks assigned by the manager.

Experience & skill set required:

• Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality studies or relevant Field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Tourism or Hospitality industry
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Ability to work under tight schedules with positive working attitude
• Independent, meticulous, teamplayer, excellent interpersonal skill, positive work attitude
• Experience in group booking
• Experience in using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus) would be an advantage
