Job summary

UNITED SERVICE TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is hiring an IT Support Engineer to be based full-time at our client's site in Tuas South. You will provide desktop, hardware and network support, deployed onsite as part of the managed IT support team.

Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with shuttle bus access and long-term engagement. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to support both language versions of software and guidance to Mandarin-speaking staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support or service desk.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware and printing systems.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and configuration on network hardware.
• Experience supporting office networks, Wi‑Fi, shared drives and VPN connectivity.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade Windows OS and images.
• Install, maintain and upgrade Microsoft 365, Office, browsers and business apps.
• Resolve day-to-day software/hardware issues and provide user training.
• Install antivirus software and manage virus definitions.
• Log, prioritise and resolve tickets within SLA.
• Provide desktop and end-user support onsite at client site.
• Carry out hardware installation and preventive maintenance.
• Support and troubleshoot endpoint network connectivity and VPN access.
