Job summary

COURTS (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, storage, and order fulfilment. You will unload shipments, verify against purchase orders, store goods in designated locations, and report discrepancies.

You will pick, pack, label, and dispatch online orders, use scanners and the Warehouse Management System to track stock and orders, and coordinate with courier partners to ensure timely deliveries. Safety and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift operation experience with a valid license is highly advantageous.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS.

Job description

The essential responsibilities include:

Receiving & Storage

• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages.

• Ensure all received goods are properly stored in designated locations.

Order Fulfilment, Shipping & Last-Mile Delivery

• Pick, pack, check, and prepare warehouse and online customer orders accurately according to requirements.

• Process online orders, including labelling and preparing parcels for dispatch.

• Ensure the correct products and quantities are fulfilled within the required timeline.

• Use scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to process and track inventory and order status.

• Prepare and release completed orders to appointed 3PL and last-mile delivery providers, ensuring proper handover.

• Coordinate outgoing shipments and courier collections, and follow up on delivery issues, failed deliveries, or returned parcels when required.

• Coordinate with team members, internal departments, and delivery providers to resolve fulfilment or delivery-related issues.

• Support daily warehouse and online fulfilment activities based on order volume and operational requirements.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.

• Perform periodic inventory checks and weekly bin counts.

• Ensure proper stock rotation and storage.

• Monitor stock levels and escape low, excess, or unusual inventory levels when required.

• Report and investigate stock discrepancies when identified.

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when required and authorized.

• Ensure goods are stored and handled properly to prevent damage or loss.

• Support general warehouse activities, including housekeeping, cleaning, disposal, and other operational duties as required.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow workplace safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.

• Identify and report hazards or unsafe working conditions promptly.

• Comply with requirements for the handling and storage of hazardous materials, where applicable.

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.

• Participate in required safety training and briefings.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily warehouse and online fulfilment operations.

• Communicate updates regarding inventory, orders, shipments, deliveries, and operational issues.

• Coordinate with relevant teams to support timely order fulfilment and resolve operational issues.

• Assist in training and supporting new team members when required.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Secondary education or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• Proven prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

• Forklift operation experience (a valid forklift license is highly advantageous), along with the ability to operate standard warehouse equipment safely.

• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Open to working shifts, weekends, or overtime based on operational requirements, as well as a willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned.
