Job summary

BORDEN EAGLE GROUP is seeking a warehouse operative in Singapore to manage incoming deliveries, inspect items, organize stock, and ensure accurate packing and labeling. You will support production schedules by processing orders and coordinating with logistics for timely shipments.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to operate forklifts (certification is a bonus), and readiness to work in a fast-paced FMCG/manufacturing environment with strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N' or 'O' level or above completed.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred, FMCG/manufacturing a plus.
• SAP knowledge or exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, inspect for damage and discrepancies, report as needed.
• Organize, label, rotate stock and optimize space utilization.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstocking.
• Participate in regular stock counts and audits for accuracy.
• Process orders and pack accurately to support production schedules.
• Prepare goods for shipment with correct labeling and docs.
• Coordinate with logistics for pickups and timely delivery.
• Follow warehouse safety rules and PPE use.
• Keep workspace clean and orderly to prevent accidents.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse processes to reduce waste.
• Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries, inspect for damage or discrepancies and report where necessary

• Organize and store products efficiently, ensuring proper labelling, stock rotation, and space utilization.

• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overstocking to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Participate in regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Order Processing and Packing in accurate fulfilment and timely manner to support production schedules and customer demands.

• Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation (e.g., packing lists, shipping labels).

• Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and facilitate smooth operations.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.

• Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Any other ad-hoc task assigned.

About you

• GCE 'N' or 'O' level and above

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage

• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery (certification is a bonus)

• Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment

• Responsible, self-motivated team player and able to work independently
