Job summary

Knowledge Computers Pte Ltd is seeking a warehouse operator to receive, check, and organise goods, and to pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment. You will use warehouse management systems, maintain stock records, and operate equipment safely.

• Receive, check and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation and warehouse records
• Organise and store products in designated locations adhering to safety guidelines
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment according to sales orders and customer requirements
• Scan and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems and equipment
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular inventory counts and audits
• Operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, order picker, pallet jacks) safely
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and hazard-free to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with general housekeeping and health & safety compliance
• Support the team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required

About the role

This is a warehouse operations role focused on receiving, checking, verifying and organising incoming goods, as well as picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment. You will operate warehouse equipment, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation and warehouse records
• Organise and store products in designated warehouse locations, adhering to safety protocols and storage guidelines
• Perform picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment in accordance with sales order and customer requirements
• Scan and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems and equipment
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular inventory counts and audits
• Operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, order picker, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with general housekeeping duties and maintain compliance with health and safety standards
• Support the warehouse team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required

About you

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment (electrical hardware parts) is highly desirable
• Physical fit and able to perform manual labour, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets
• Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail, particularly when handling product information and inventory data
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors and team members
• Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems (Odoo, SAP) or warehouse software is advantageous
• Experience with reach truck, order picker or Forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification is beneficial
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings or evenings, as required by operational needs
• Commitment to health and safety practices and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe workplace
