Job summary

NOVELTY DEPT STORE PTE LTD is seeking a part-time HR staff to join our team in Singapore. The role involves hands-on HR operations, recruitment support, payroll processing, and compliance tasks with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy.

The position is 3 days per week, 4 hours per day, on site. Candidates should have a diploma in HR, at least 3 years of HR ops experience, and solid English communication skills. Construction industry exposure is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Human Resource or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in HR operations.
• Proficient experience in MOM, CPF & IRAS.
• Familiar with EPE software.
• Well versed in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in construction industry is a plus.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR information.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of HR functions.
• Assist in recruitment process by pre-screening and onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, orientation and development and compensation and benefit.
• Handle work pass applications, renewal and cancellation.
• Process employee's monthly payroll, CPF submission, IR21, IR8A annual Income Tax Assessment and levy waivers.
• Handle work injury claims and government paid leave claims.
• Maintain accurate employee data in EPE HR system and manage leave portal.
• Handle security bonds, PCP, dormitory arrangements, and pre-housing checks.
• Handle CRS and BCA license applications and renewals.
• Manage employees’ core trade, multi-skill, D1, and CSOC courses.
