Job summary

ECARX is seeking an on-site IT support assistant to support offices in Germany and the UK. You will manage equipment distribution, installation, and basic configuration of computers, monitors, and mobile devices, and assist with onboarding/offboarding IT tasks.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, independent work, and clear communication in English and local languages. Chinese language skills are preferred, and you will coordinate with headquarters for complex issues while handling routine

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or postgraduate student, or other part-time workers; available to work on-site at the office for one fixed day per week
• Good communication skills in English and the local language
• Familiar with Windows operating system and Microsoft 365; capable of basic operation and troubleshooting
• Diligent and responsible with strong service awareness; able to complete on-site support work independently
• Preferred background: CS/IT; prior Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience; proficient with MacBook and Windows terminals
• Chinese language skills preferred
• On-site role; complex faults guided remotely by HQ IT team in China; on-site staff handle execution tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for offices in Germany and the UK, handling equipment distribution, collection, repair applications and basic configuration
• Assist with office equipment setup and software installations for new hires; deliver onboarding/offboarding IT training
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of meeting room and printer equipment; manage asset records and local IT warehouse
• Troubleshoot common software, hardware and network issues on desktops; coordinate with HQ IT team for fault diagnosis
• Carry out on-site tasks under HQ guidance, such as equipment replacement, network device reboots, and logistics
• Liaise with local suppliers and courier services as required
• Complete other daily IT support tasks as assigned
