Job summary

TECEZE is seeking a freelance IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable, with duties every Monday.

You will handle desktop/laptop issues, hardware and peripheral troubleshooting, basic networking, printer setup, AV support, and Office 365-related tasks while coordinating with vendors and maintaining inventory. Independent, high-quality service is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting and configuration.
• Hands-on hardware support and peripheral device experience.
• Basic networking knowledge including DHCP, DNS, and LAN connectivity.
• Printer/network printer setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with Office 365 support.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in inventory management and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software as per organizational standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT assets.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and documentation.
• Perform system imaging for laptops and desktops.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting, and network printer installations.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technologies.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot compliance/security software.
• Provide support for Mac devices alongside Windows systems.
• Ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support after-hours activities, events, and recurring meetings when required.
