Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing agency in Singapore seeks an Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing and managing patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have at least a degree in Occupational Therapy, be AHPC-registerable, and possess strong communication skills. The role offers a salary of up to $6,000 and involves working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

  • AHPC-registerable.
  • Min 1 year experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics, or Palliative Care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients referred for occupational therapy independently.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in line with clinical standards.
  • Provide timely reviews to support continuity of care.
  • Accurately document patient progress and maintain proper records.
  • Communicate and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job description

Salary: Up to $6,000

Location: Queenstown
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri + 0.5 Saturday shift (once every 4 weeks)

Job Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Assess and manage patients referred for occupational therapy independently
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with clinical standards
  • Provide timely reviews to support continuity of care
  • Accurately document patient progress and maintain proper records
  • Practise within professional scope and seek supervision or clinical support when necessary

Secondary Duties

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Participate and assist in clinical or service improvement initiatives
  • Support the clinical education of occupational therapy students
  • Contribute to in-service training and hospital educational programmes
Requirements
  • Min Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPC-registerable
  • Min 1 year experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics (including Hand Therapy), or Palliative Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
