Job summary

Astreya in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Engineer II to manage production networks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime across global environments.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong IP networking skills (BGP/OSPF/MPLS), and the ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and TAC teams.

24/7 coverage with global colleagues is expected, with some weekend work. Root-cause analyses and capacity planning will be part of your duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and cross-vendor collaboration.
• Solid understanding of IP networking and traffic peering.
• Experience with fiber-optic tech and optical transport.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production network and internet peering strategies.
• Work with multiple TAC vendors to troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Provide 24/7 support with global teams; some weekend work may be required.
• Handle incidents related to routing, capacity, CRC, and outages.
• Perform root-cause analysis for network and server outages.
