Job summary

SYNAPXE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Associate Network Engineer to support and maintain infrastructure operations, lead high-impact projects, and guide teams to implement plans within budgets.

The role requires on-call standby across varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will manage network incidents, changes, and capacity planning while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure high availability and security of enterprise services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years hands-on experience in network operation support and project management.
• Minimum CCNA; CCNP preferred; CCIE advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Aruba/Huawei or equivalent tech.
• Experience implementing Cisco ACI environments.
• Experience with LAN/WAN including MPLS.
• Exposure to NAC solutions is a plus.
• Willingness to standby 24/7.
• Travel to PHI sites across the cluster.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure and transformation projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Drive LAN/WAN modernization, SD-WAN, data center moves, cloud connectivity.
• Oversee procurement, governance, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure post-implementation support and minimize business disruption.
• Manage daily BAU network operations for high availability and security.
• Lead incident, problem, change, and service request management per ITIL.
