Astreya in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage and troubleshoot Production networking environments. The role requires independence, high accuracy, and attention to detail.

You will work on production networks, peering with internet providers, support multiple vendors, and participate in 24/7 global coverage. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with content delivery networks and peering traffic.
• Understanding of fiber-optic technology and patch panels.
• Experience in root cause analysis for network and server issues.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 support and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production network and internet peering strategy.
• Day-to-day work on multiple vendor servers and software/hardware issues.
• Support teams in handling network incidents such as routing, capacity, and performance.
• Troubleshoot optical and IP network components.
• Coordinate with ISP/vendors to fix network issues.
• Work with TAC vendors to fix hardware issues.
• Participate in 24/7 support with global teams; some weekend work may be required.
