Job summary

ITCAN Pte Limited is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage Cisco switches and ClearPass on customer sites, supporting large-scale production networks in a diverse environment. You will perform deep dives into complex issues, automate tooling, and address hardware failures while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

The role involves escalating incidents, conducting postmortems, and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Day to day operation of managing, administration of all Cisco switches and Clearpass on customer site.
• Support operations such as production networks in a hyper-scale and heterogeneous environment.
• Perform deep dives on complex technical issues across networks, ranging from automated tooling to hardware failures and network issues.
• Anticipate potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate/minimize.
• Participate and improve escalation and emergency response with detailed postmortem while addressing issues systematically to prevent future occurrences.
• Align with cross-functional relationships with Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Traffic, Logistics, Program Management, and OEM partners to deliver superb operational results and manage the performance of external vendors.
• Escorting of vendors when needed.
