ZA ENTERPRISE is seeking a Retail Store Area Manager to oversee multi-store operations, drive sales performance and ensure excellent customer service. You will lead Store Managers, manage staffing and training, monitor inventory and costs, and coordinate promotions across outlets to maximize profitability.

The role emphasizes standard operating procedures, risk controls, and performance reporting to headquarters. A strong background in retail leadership and merchandising is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple retail outlets and ensure stores follow SOPs and standards.
• Drive sales, set targets and monitor KPIs to improve profitability across assigned stores.
• Lead and develop Store Managers and staff, handle recruitment, onboarding and coaching.
• Maintain inventory control, monitor stock levels, shrinkage and merchandising accuracy.
• Ensure high customer-service standards, resolve complaints and uphold store presentation.
• Monitor store P&L and control costs, ensure proper cash handling and banking procedures.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, pricing, planograms and product visibility.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety checks, auditing and risk management.
• Identify opportunities to improve store productivity and customer experience.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, manpower, inventory and performance, and escalate issues promptly.
