Job summary

Atlas Cloud Services is seeking a capable Accountant in Singapore to manage day-to-day accounting, customer invoicing and monthly financial closing for assigned group entities. You will work with the Group Accounting Manager to maintain accurate records, prepare financial statements and reconciliations, and support the transition of our accounting operations in-house.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of practical accounting experience with full sets of accounts.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting; ACCA/CPA qualification or progress toward qualification.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience handling customer invoicing, AR reconciliations and revenue accounting.
• Experience managing accounts for multiple entities; multi-currency transactions and intercompany accounting advantageous.
• Familiarity with Singapore accounting and tax requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good English communication skills; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate general ledger records for assigned entities.
• Prepare monthly and annual closing entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and other journals.
• Prepare entity-level trial balances, P&L, balance sheets and closing schedules.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and supporting schedules for group consolidation.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms.
• Coordinate with teams to obtain and verify customer billing information and supporting calculations.
• Record and reconcile accounts receivable, revenue and deferred revenue.
• Coordinate with Treasury on customer collections and payment reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset registers including GPU equipment acquisitions and depreciation.
