Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an Accountant to own the accounting, invoicing and payment processes for multiple entities in a hands-on, office-based finance team. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets and intercompany accounting, while supporting statutory, audit and tax information requests.

A degree in Accounting or Finance and at least four years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance or above.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience covering general ledger and financial closing.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with GST, statutory reporting, audit support is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet month-end deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations and clear reconciling items.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing and accounting schedules.
• Support statutory accounts, external audit and tax information requests.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit notes; monitor overdue receivables.
• Review payment documentation, prepare payment batches and ensure controls.
• Liaise with business teams and external service providers to resolve issues.
