Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineering project manager to lead the planning and coordination of hangar facilities, working with project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, insurers, and regulators.

You will develop layouts for hangars, workshops, warehouses and offices to support base maintenance and future needs, review specifications, support tender evaluations, and help ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in MRO Hangar/Aerospace Park design and/or Construction Project Management preferred.
• Willing to be based in India for more than 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of new hangars and supporting facilities with project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, insurers, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop functional layouts for hangars, workshops, warehouses, stores, and offices to support base maintenance operations and future requirements.
• Review technical specifications, support tender evaluations, and recommend appointment of contractors and procurement of equipment and services.
• Participate in project, design, engineering, and site meetings while providing technical advice to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Coordinate fire safety requirements with stakeholders and review fire protection systems and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of major engineering equipment and storage solutions, ensuring documentation and readiness for handover.
• Support development of the facilities organisation, including defining roles, recruitment, training, maintenance requirements, procedures, drawings, and maintenance schedules.
