Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced MRO Process Engineering Manager to lead and optimize repair and overhaul processes within an aerospace environment at Loyang, Singapore.

You will own process engineering activities for aircraft component repair and overhaul, drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, mentor the process engineering team, and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality to deliver safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering/process experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in aerospace MRO, aircraft component repair/overhaul or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of airworthiness requirements and aerospace regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of MRO process engineering activities supporting aircraft component repair and overhaul operations.
• Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and turnaround times.
• Use data to investigate recurring issues and determine practical solutions.
• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing process inefficiencies, defects, delays and operational risks.
• Establish and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement approaches.
• Work with Engineering, Production, Quality and MRO teams to resolve technical and process-related challenges.
• Provide engineering input when introducing new repair methods, processes or operational requirements.
• Assist in root-cause investigations and develop corrective/preventive measures.
• Ensure process documentation, work instructions and procedures remain accurate.
• Monitor KPIs and translate performance trends into improvement actions.
• Support projects involving process changes, operational upgrades and new capabilities.
• Act as technical contact for process-related matters with customers, OEMs and stakeholders.
• Guide, mentor and develop members of the process engineering team.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering/process experience .
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience .
• Experience in aerospace MRO, aircraft component repair, overhaul or aerospace manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of aircraft component repair and overhaul processes.
• Knowledge of airworthiness requirements and aerospace regulatory standards .
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
