Job summary

Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is hiring a Store Inspector to inspect incoming aircraft engine parts, verify documentation, and raise discrepancies as needed. The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with aviation quality standards, and experience with SAP/Goods Receipt processes.

The successful candidate will maintain thorough records, monitor shelf life of spare parts, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in aviation, logistics, or related discipline.
• Prior aviation warehouse or quality inspection experience is a plus.
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with airworthiness certificates and purchase order requirements.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, expiry dates, and packaging conditions.
• Identify, document, and raise Discrepancy Reports (DRs) for any defects, damages, or quality-related issues.
• Perform Goods Receipt transactions accurately in SAP.
• Maintain proper documentation and records to support audit, traceability, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor the shelf life and expiration dates of aircraft engine spare parts.
• Ensure adherence to established SOPs, aviation safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Investigate and validate stock variances as required.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.

The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and/or other warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
