Job summary

SAESL in Singapore is seeking a diligent Store Inspector to verify incoming aircraft engine parts for quality, airworthiness, and documentation compliance.

You will inspect shipments, verify part numbers, manage DRs for defects, perform SAP Goods Receipt entries, and maintain accurate records for audits and traceability.

The role requires Diploma in Aviation or related field and experience in aviation warehouses; teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in an aviation warehouse environment or quality inspection role is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and/or other warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with airworthiness certificates and purchase order requirements.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, expiry dates, and packaging conditions.
• Identify, document, and raise Discrepancy Reports (DRs) for any defects, damages, or quality-related issues.
• Perform Goods Receipt transactions accurately in SAP.
• Maintain proper documentation and records to support audit, traceability, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor the shelf life and expiration dates of aircraft engine spare parts.
• Ensure adherence to established SOPs, aviation safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Investigate and validate stock variances as required.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
