Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) in Singapore offers challenging roles in aerospace engine maintenance and component repair. You will liaise with customers and OEMs to define work scopes and develop detailed instructions for engine and module repairs and overhauls.

The role requires a degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or a related discipline, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering problems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high-bypass gas turbine engines and their maintenance, repair and overhaul.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• Ability to review technical publications and produce clear technical output.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with customers and OEMs to define the work scope for engine and module maintenance activities.
• Develop and issue detailed work instructions for engine and module repairs and overhauls.
• Review and evaluate OEM technical publications to ensure the shop is adequately prepared to perform the required tasks.
• Provide technical support and assessment of engine and module strip findings.
• Prepare technical summaries detailing strip findings, repair recommendations, and work performed on engines and modules.
• Raise Technical Variance Requests (TVR) with OEMs, where required, to obtain approval for findings that exceed specified limits.
• Provide engineering support for sentencing and kitting activities.
• Conduct investigations on engines and modules removed from service and prepare technical reports on investigation findings and recommendations.
• Prepare engine test instructions and provide troubleshooting support during engine testing activities.

A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. Qualification / Experience

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates with a relevant Diploma and substantial work experience will also be considered.


• Good knowledge of high-bypass gas turbine engines and their maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
