Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is seeking a Material Planning Executive to plan, coordinate and monitor material requirements for engine repair and overhaul operations, ensuring on-time availability of parts and materials to meet production schedules.

The role requires a Diploma and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with preference for SAP knowledge and experience in material planning or supply chain activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in Material Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements for engine repair and overhaul activities.
• Forecast material demand and track parts delivery to ensure on-time availability.
• Source, expedite, or arrange stock transfers when parts are unavailable or delayed.
• Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) outputs and replenish inventory as required.
• Raise Purchase Orders and ensure adequate spare parts availability to support production schedules.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments to align material availability with production goals and timelines.
• Schedule and oversee the procurement, supply, and delivery of materials.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and order cancellations effectively.
• Identify material shortages and implement mitigation plans to minimize operational impact.

A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.

As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.
