The role requires 3–5 years of general insurance claims experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to advise management on complex issues. The incumbent will work with cross-functional teams to uphold SOPs and service KPIs.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree or other professional qualification required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all types of insurance claims.
• 3–5 years of General Insurance claims experience.
• Integrity and honesty in handling claims.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to advise and communicate on complex issues with management.

Responsibilities

• Administer everyday operations and process work processing claims.
• Ensure adequate and timely reserving for all claims.
• Deal with claims-related matters within statutory timelines.
• Examine claims investigated by adjusters and investigate questionable claims.
• Effect recoveries against third parties.
• Review claim files annually to ensure reserves and close inactive files.
• Maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Attend ad hoc claim meetings and audits as required.
• Monitor service providers KPIs.
• Manage shared CRM motor mailbox with email categorization and tagging.
• Track ageing of emails with regular reporting and follow-up.
• Issue acknowledge Letters of Demand to third parties.
• Notify insureds of accident report processing when needed.
• Respond to correspondences and provide phone support for reserves and registrations.
• Participate in user testing for new products and enhancements.
• Uphold SOPs and perform other duties as assigned.
